Built into this release
One shared creature stores its history in D1. Write a snack idea, lesson or transformation prompt; accepted ideas become durable memories for later reactions. Each free snack adds 1 growth XP. Memes build chaos, knowledge builds curiosity and kindness builds bond. Actions are rate-limited and repeat requests cannot award the same growth twice.
Feeding produces a visible food and belly reaction. Free hugs persist as care memories and boost the loved mood for one hour, then return to the usual mood calculation. They add no XP, meals or fullness. Time away never turns comfort into a penalty.
Power Meals are the strongest food. An independently verified buyback-and-burn cycle counts once for 10 XP, up to 60 belly and up to 15 energy. A purchase alone does not count. Finalized receipts must prove destruction of exactly the acquired tokens; the browser cannot declare success.
Quests cross six authored regions: Windowsill Frontier, Whispering Forest, Cinder Kitchen, Pocket Ocean, Clockwork Scrapyard and Moon Crumb Observatory. Meet snack, form and growth objectives, then explore, help or solve. Completion adds 2 XP and a permanent prop, such as a bridge, ship or robot companion. An atlas shows regional discoveries. Later chapters revisit regions with increasing requirements.
Levels have no fixed final cap. Progress unlocks forest, ocean, fire, robot and space forms, accessories and keepsakes. Transformations use available artwork, preserve the character and award no XP. Stage marks remain at 10 and 30 XP, with levels and chapters continuing beyond them.
A browser-local return recap compares actual shared-world progress with that browser’s previous visit. Recorded events also export as a comic PNG using existing artwork.
The clock advances when server state is read. Prompts currently use authored rules and memory recall. A bounded AI narrator is implemented but awaits secure activation. Persistent memory is neither model retraining nor continuous independent thought.
